Cooking Steps

Sorghum Annam

Step 1 :

Wash the dehulled sorghum thoroughly and soak for 30 minutes.

Step 2 :

Bring sufficient water to a boil in a pot and add the sorghum.

Step 3 :

Cook pearled or dehulled sorghum in the boiling water till the grains become soft and palatable.

Step 4 :

Drain excess water, if any, and serve hot.

Pressure Cooker Method

Step 1 :

Cook soaked sorghum with water for 5–10 minutes (2–3 whistles). Let pressure release naturally before opening.
