Cooking Steps
Makhana Dry Fruit Laddoo
Step 1 :
Chop cashew, almonds, and pistachios.
Step 2 :
In a large kadhai take the makhana and roast on a low flame until the makhana is crisp and crunchy.
Step 3 :
Cool the makhana and grind into a fine powder and keep aside.
Step 4 :
In a pan take half cup almonds and half cup cashews roast well until the nuts are crunchy. Cool completely and then grind into a fine powder.
Step 5 :
Roast 1 cup coconut on low flame until it turns golden brown.
Step 6 :
In a pan, heat ghee. Add the chopped cashews, chopped almonds, pistachios and raisins and roast until the nuts are crunchy. Add sesame seeds and cardamom powder. Mix well and make sure everything is well combined.
Step 7 :
In a large kadai take ghee and add 1-1/2 cups of water. Stir and dissolve the jaggery and boil the syrup until 1-string consistency is obtained. Keep the flame low and add the mixture of nuts and makhana. Mix well until the syrup is well combined with the nuts.
Step 8 :
When the mixture is still warm, prepare the Laddoos.
