A hearty winter one-pot, this makki dish brings together spinach, rajma, and makki atta for a rustic, soul-warming meal that feels like comfort in every bite.

Cooking Steps

Winter One-Pot Makki

Step 1 :

Add olive oil to the pan. Then add cumin seeds, onion, garlic and tomatoes.

Step 2 :

Add 1.5 cups of water, and add salt and red chilli to it.

Step 3 :

Then add boiled rajma and corn to the mixture.

Step 4 :

Cook for 15 minutes.

Step 5 :

Add paneer and spinach leaves after that.

Step 6 :

Put black pepper and mix well.

Step 7 :

For makki dough:- take half a cup of makki atta and add half tsp salt to it and hot water. Roll into roti and cut strips to make crisp tortillas.

Step 8 :

Add oil to the pan and shallow fry makki tortillas till crisp and golden.

Step 9 :

In the end:- add vegetables stew to boil and top with makki tortillas and coriander, and namkeen bhujiya.

Step 10 :

Serve hot.
