Pressure Cooker Tandoori Roti

Step 1 :

In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and water, kneading until a soft dough forms (this typically takes 15-20 minutes).

Step 2 :

Cover the dough and allow it to rest overnight.

Step 3 :

Preheat a pressure cooker upside down over high heat until very hot.

Step 4 :

Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.

Step 5 :

Take one ball and roll it out into a flat circle. Spread ghee over the surface, then fold the dough to create a fan shape. Twist the dough to form a coil, then press it down again. Apply more ghee, followed by salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, and chopped fresh coriander.

Step 6 :

Step 7 :

Flip the dough over and roll it out into a thick disc.

Step 8 :

Use water to help adhere the roti to the sides of the pressure cooker.

Step 9 :

Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, then serve hot.
