Chilli Rice Dhokla with Leftover Rice

Spice up leftover rice for a tasty teatime snack.

Chilli Rice Dhokla

Step 1 :

Blend rice, besan & curd to a smooth batter and transfer to a bowl.

Step 2 :

Add green chilli paste, ginger paste, salt, 2tsp oil & sugar. Mix it and make a thin consistency by adding enough water. Rest for 10 min.

Step 3 :

Heat steamer. Add soda to batter and mix it well. Steam for 12-15 min.

Step 4 :

Cool it, remove on a plate, and cut into cubes.

Step 5 :

Heat ghee in pan. Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, hing and turn off the flame. Add chilli powder and the cut rice cutes. Coat them with the tadka.

Step 6 :

Serve hot with sauce and chutney.
