Dry Nethili Fish Kulambu

Nethili Dry Fish Kulambu is an authentic recipe made in the South region of India which is a traditional dish recipe made with flavourful ingredients. It is famous in the side of Sivakasi made with a Chettinad style. It flavours like a tangy which everybody likes. This was made on my own.

Cooking Steps

Dry Nethili Fish Kulambu

Step 1 :

Clean dry fish by removing its heads and wash 2-3 times using hot water then add to a pan add little oil, and roast until fry.

Step 2 :

Add oil, to it add mustard, jeera, ural dhal channa dhal, fenugreek and onions, vadagam to it add some salt.

Step 3 :

After the onion gets gold brown colour add asafoetida, and add tomatoes and garlic fry until it gets mashed.

Step 4 :

Add potatoes to it and cook for 5 mins then add tamarind juice and little water and boil for 6-7mins.

Step 5 :

Add the ground paste and Cooke for 3-4mins then add fry fish.

Step 6 :

Close the lid and leave for 2mins then the curry is ready and serve with rice.
