Baked Tomato Lasange

This is a simple yet scrumptious dish to prepare for your loved ones at home.

Step 1 :

Boil the lasagna sheets and keep aside. Wash it with cold water and layer it with oil.

Step 2 : For red chilli paste

Boil red chillies in water. Once done add ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp vinegar and 2 tsp La Espanola olive oil to the water.

Step 3 :

Heat oil and cook onion until transparent with garlic paste.

Step 4 :

Add capsicum, sauté for a little while till softened, add boiled mushrooms and baby corn and sauté well. After a few minutes add tomato.

Step 5 :

After the tomato, immediately add the red chilli oil, salt and pepper and let it cook. Simultaneously, use a masher to mash the tomato.

Step 6 :

Add tomato ketchup and cook.

Step 7 :

Add worchestire sauce and Italian seasoning and cook more.

Step 8 :

After cooking set aside with a cover.

Step 9 :

Grease a baking dish with oil. Preheat the oven at 300° C for about 8-10 minutes in up-down heating mode.

Step 10 :

In the baking dish, layer one set of two lasagna sheets and then add the tomato mixture and then the red sauce. Repeat this two more times.

Step 11 :

Then top with grated cheese, oregano, basil leaves some tomato sauce and can also sprinkle some bread crumbs for crisp finish.

Step 12 :

Bake for about 12-14 minutes till dish is crisp on top and cooked instead of being creamy in the center.
