Thai Mango Sticky Rice Dessert is a traditional/popular dessert in Thailand. It is easy and quick to make.

Step 1 :

Soak rice in 1 cup water for 20-30 minutes.

Step 2 :

In pan, add rice, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup coconut milk, salt, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar. Stir well.

Step 3 :

Bring it to a boil and then cook on medium flame.

Step 4 :

Cook the rice on sim until the coconut water gets absorbed.

Step 5 :

Turn off the flame and keep the rice aside, covered with a lid.

Step 6 : To make coconut sauce

In a pan, add rest of coconut milk, water and brown sugar.

Step 7 :

Warm it and stir it till the sugar gets dissolves and it starts to thicken.

Step 8 :

Chop mango in slices and make fan using the slices.

Step 9 :

In a plate, place mango slices, spread little coconut sauce and spread the cooked rice over it.

Step 10 :

Drizzle a little coconut sauce from the top and serve this sticky rice dessert.
