Dates are a good source of iron. This recipe is not only scrumptious to eat but is healthy too. It is prepared with dates and loads of dry fruits.

Step 1 :

Roughly chop the dates using a knife.

Step 2 :

Cut each cashew nuts, almonds, walnuts and pistachios into 6-7 small pieces.

Step 3 :

Place the pan on flame and pour some ghee into it. When the ghee melts, add 2 tbsp poppy seeds and stir continuously. Roast it for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 4 :

Add chopped cashew nuts, almonds and walnuts, pistachios and raisins into it. Keep stirring constantly and roast them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

Step 5 :

Now add chopped dates, turn the flame to low and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Step 6 :

When everything is mixed well, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture on a plate so that it cools down quickly.

Step 7 :

Grease the knife and cute it into squares and serve.
