Badanekayi Mosaru Bajji or curry is very tasty and goes very well with rice or chapati. This type of brinjal curry is famous across some regions of Karnataka.

Step 1 :

Take the brinjal, wash and pat it dry. Apply oil all over it.

Step 2 :

Place it over an open medium flame until the brinjal is cooked well. Keep turning the brinjal to cook it evenly on all side. It will take around 7-8 minutes.

Step 3 :

Using a fork or your fingers, peel the cooked brinjal carefully.

Step 4 :

Mash it well using a fork or fingers and transfer it into a vessel.

Step 5 :

Add in whisked curd and salt.

Step 6 :

Now, add in chopped green chili and coriander leaves.

Step 7 :

Add oil, mustard seeds, hing and red chili. Serve it with rice and enjoy.
