This recipe is a Christmas delicacy containing healthy ingredients. It has whole wheat and jaggery and lots of dried fruits.

Step 1 :

Soak all the dried fruits in orange juice overnight in the fridge.

Step 2 :

Mix butter and jaggery in a bowl and whisk it well to get a smooth paste.

Step 3 :

Sieve wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cocoa and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix it well.

Step 4 :

Sieve the soaked dried fruits in keep it aside.

Step 5 :

Add juice little by little and whisk it well.

Step 6 :

Once the batter is mixed well, add soaked dried fruits and vanilla essence.

Step 7 :

Fold the batter well. The batter should not be too runny.

Step 8 :

Fill the batter into a greased loaf tin.

Step 9 :

Bake the cake into a preheated oven at 350 F for about 40 minutes.

Step 10 :

Once done, de-mould it and cut it after it cools down. Serve it with tea or coffee.
