Indo Western Style Besan Cheela

A healthy and flavourful recipe where vegetables are mixed with a batter made of besan, ragi and rice flour. The sprinkling of oregano, chilli flakes and cheese take the taste to another level. Serve with green chutney and tomato sauce.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Take a bowl, add 1 cup besan, 2 tbsp. ragi flour and 2 tbsp. rice flour.

Step 2 :

Add finely chopped tomatoes, onions, capsicum and palak. Add grated carrot, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder, salt and finely chopped coriander leaves.

Step 3 :

Mix the above ingredients with water to make it into flowing batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 4 :

Take a dosa tawa. Heat it and spread the mixture in circular motion to make it like a pancake. Drizzle 2 tsp of oil and cook both the sides.

Step 5 :

Sprinkle oregano, chilli flakes and grated cheese.

Step 6 :

Fold the cheela and serve with green chutney and tomato sauce.
