Cheesy Okra (bhindi) Fritters

Fritters or pakora are almost everyone's favourite! These are a bit different as they are made with okra.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Wash, wipe and finely chop the bhindi. Chop onions finely.

Step 2 :

In a mixing bowl, add besan, rice flour and all the dry spices. Mix well.

Step 3 :

Add the bhindi and onions.

Step 4 :

Add crushed curry leaves, 1 tbsp. oil and 2 tbsp. water.

Step 5 :

Now mix them all together and make a dough.

Step 6 :

Take a small piece from the dough and flatten it with the palms. Place a small piece of cheese and cover the ball properly. Seal the edges properly.

Step 7 :

Fry all the fritters till they turn crisp or golden brown.

Step 8 :

Serve hot.
