White Sauce Cheesy Penne Pasta

Flavourful, aromatic, cheesy and sizzling white sauce penne pasta served with garlic bread.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Boil water. Once it starts bubbling, add salt and penne pasta. Keep stirring. Make sure it doesn't stick or break. Once cooked, drain water using a strainer. Pour cold water and then little oil on it.

Step 2 :

In a pan, add butter and all the veggies. Sauté it.

Step 3 :

Add oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper.

Step 4 :

In another pan, add butter and all-purpose flour. Keep stirring (or else lumps will be formed) till the flour is cooked without changing its colour. Then, add milk and cheese slices and keep stirring continuously till the sauce thickens (or else lumps will be formed). Add oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper.

Step 5 :

Once the sauce thickens, add the veggies and salt.

Step 6 :

Finally add the boiled pasta in the above sauce.

Step 7 :

Serve hot with garlic bread.
