Flourless Quinoa Brownies

Chewy, healthy, fudgy and delicious, anyone can make these flour-less brownies. You just have to mix all ingredients in a processor or beat them well. Adding cooked quinoa lends a smooth texture.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Cook quinoa in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes. Let all the water evaporate.

Step 2 :

Transfer to a bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Step 3 :

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Step 4 :

Spray 8-inch square cake pan with cooking spray or line the pan with parchment paper.

Step 5 :

Add all other ingredients with quinoa into the bowl. Use a hand beater and beat at medium speed for 3 to 5 minutes. You will get a smooth batter.

Step 6 :

Pour into the prepared cake-tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until tester inserted in centre comes out clean.

Step 7 :

Let it cool for 10 minutes. Cut into square pieces.

Step 8 :

Dust with powdered sugar before serving (optional).
