Preparation

Step 1 :

Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients listed under marination. Keep it aside for an hour.

Step 2 :

In the meantime, heat oil in a pan and add the cardamom. Once it lets out a fragrance, add the ginger and garlic. Sauté till it is well cooked and the raw smell goes. Add the onions and sauté till it turns golden brown.

Step 3 :

Add tomato paste and the spices listed under the gravy section. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 4 :

Add the cream to the gravy and the marinated chicken, cover and cook for another 15 minutes.

Step 5 :

Add the kasoori methi and garnish with coriander.

Step 6 :

Assembly: Heat the burger bun slightly. Place a lettuce leaf, top it with 2 spoons of the butter chicken, an onion ring and a slice of cheese. Cover it with the other bun.
