Preparation
Step 1 :
Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
Step 2 :
In a bowl, beat the egg and sugar until it is foamy.
Step 3 :
Whisk the melted chocolate with the egg mixture along and sifted flour.
Step 4 :
Grease the ramekin bowl / tea cup / reheat able bowl / muffin cup.
Step 5 :
Fill up the tea cup with the batter.
Step 6 :
Prepare a pot with around 200 ml water. Bring it to boil. Switch off the heat. Place the tea cup into the pot.
Step 7 :
On medium heat, bring the water to boil again. Once it is boiled, cover the pot with the lid.
Turn the heat to low and steam for 8-10 minutes. Check the water level.
Other options: Bake it in the microwave for 1 minute.
Step 8 :
Take the lid off. Check if the cake is done by touching the top of cake and the side of cake. It should be firm.
Step 9 :
Rest for 2-3 minutes before unmolding. There will be a small gap between the cake and the cup.
Step 10 :
Serve the cake with powdered sugar/sliced mango and mango puree/scoop ice cream.
