Majoon(Sindhi Sweet dish)

Majoon is a sindhi sweet dish especially to eat in winters. Ideal substitute for high-calorie snacks. Also it is Rich of nutrients.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Take a thick bottom pan and add 2 tbsp of ghee in it.

Step 2 :

Add mava in it and roasted it for 2-3 minutes on low flame. (Don't let it burn)

Step 3 :

Now crush all dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds and apricots) and add these crushed dry fruits along with crushed dry coconut in the pan.

Step 4 :

Add sugar and milk in the pan. Also add pinch of cardamom powder in it.

Step 5 :

Mix all the ingredients vigorously till the mixture is light golden brown. Cook it till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and then switch off the flame.

Step 6 :

Take a greased tray or plate and spread this mixture.

Step 7 :

Cool it and cut into squares. Also garnish it with almonds and apricots.

Step 8 : Tip

It stays well in refrigerator for atleast a week.
