Orange Peel Chutney

In our small attempt to make something useful out of food scrap, we managed to prepare a delicious chutney out of orange peel, which aids digestion

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Cut the Orange Peel into small pieces and fry them in 1 teaspoon of oil till it changes to dark brown in colour (approx. 2 minutes). Keep them aside.

Step 2 :

In the same frying pan, roast Channa dal, Urad dal, tamarind, Grated coconut, Asafoetida & Red Chillies together till the mixture turns golden brown (approx. 3 minutes)

Step 3 :

Grind well all the above roasted ingredients along with orange peel, 25 ml of water and salt.

Step 4 : Serving

Your Chutney is ready. Serve with Hot Rice and Ghee.
