Oyster Mushroom Cutlets

Veg mushroom cutlets are a perfect snack for the winter evenings. Know this quick recipe to prepare easily at home.

Step 1 :

Heat oil in a kadai, add cumin seeds and it starts spluttering, add the chopped onions.

Step 2 :

Saute for 1-2 minutes, then add the ginger-garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell of garlic goes away and then add the chopped oyster mushrooms, salt, chilli flakes and pepper powder.

Step 3 :

Cook till its water evaporates. Then add the pea paste. Cook just for a minute and turn off the gas.

Step 4 :

Now in a large bowl, mix all the cooked mushroom mixture, spring onions and 2 Tablespoon of breadcrumbs, leaving aside remaining breadcrumbs for coating. Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls and flatten them to make round-shaped Tikkis.

Step 5 :

Coat each tikkis with bread crumbs and shallow fry with butter or oil till crispy brown. Serve with mint chutney.

Step 6 :

Tip: A really fast & short cut way of making cutlets is to mix all the ingredients together instead of cooking the onions & mushrooms. Make tikkis shaped and coat with bread crumbs.
