Basundi is a delicious and traditional sweet dish, with flavors of cardamon and saffron.

Step 1 :

In a heavy bottom pan, pour milk and keep the heat in low flame.

Step 2 :

Slowly take the milk skin which forms in the top of the milk. Collect it in a separate bowl.

Step 3 :

Do the process till the milk reduces to 1 cup.

Step 4 :

Then to the rest of the milk add sugar, saffron and cardamon.

Step 5 :

Now turn off the heat and add all the milk skin to the milk.

Step 6 :

Let it cool down for few minutes and then refrigerate it.
