Steps for Indian Lasagna
Step 1 :
In a large skillet, warm the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook until golden.
Step 2 :
Add the garlic and ginger and saute for another minute. Stir in the paprika, garam masala, cumin and cayenne and cook for 1 minute.
Step 3 :
Add the beef/Mutton, breaking up lumps with a spoon and saute until the meat is no longer pink.
Step 4 :
Add the tomatoes, water, yogurt and season with salt and pepper. Stir well and simmer, partially covered about 15 minutes.
Step 5 :
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and gradually stir in the milk to get a smooth sauce.
Step 6 :
Stirring all the time, bring to the boil. Simmer gently for 8-10 minutes and season with salt and white pepper.
Step 7 :
Stir in cheese and allow to melt. Do not re-boil the sauce or it will become stringy.
Step 8 :
In Lasagne sheets top it with cheese to cover the top. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Put Put the lasagne for approximately 20-30.
