Steps

Step 1 :

Mix the grated coconut and milk, leaving 1/4 cup of grated coconut for garnishing. Keep it aside for 45 minutes.

Step 2 :

Now heat the ghee in a pan and then pour the coconut mixture in it. Stir it for 5 minutes. Now add khoya in it and keep stirring it for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3 :

Add sugar in it and mix it well. Keep stirring so that i won't stick on the base. Ghee will leave sides after 5 minutes almost.

Step 4 :

Now in a greased plate, pour the mixture and if you want to use food color, then in 1/4th batter add color and make a base layer of that. Keep it in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5 : For Serving

Garnish it with left grated coconut and chopped almonds. Serve with hot elaichi ginger tea.
