Ingredients

400 gm Cottage Cheese / Paneer 4 medium Onoins

2 medium Tomato 1 inch of Ginger

0.5 tablespoon Garam Masala powder 1 tablespoon Chilli Powder

0.5 tablespoon Kasuri Methi 0.5 tablespoon Cumin seeds

3 pieces Green Chillies 0.5 tablespoon Turmeric Powder

4 tablespoon Oil 1 Cup Malai / Fresh Cream

1.5 Cup Milk Salt to taste

Cooking Steps

Preparation Steps

Step 1 :

Peel and finely chop Onions.

Step 2 :

Chop tomatoes, ginger and green chilies.

Step 3 :

Cut cottage cheese into small cubes.

Steps

Step 1 :

Take oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and saute.

Step 2 :

Now add chopped green chilies, ginger and saute.

Step 3 :

Add onions and saute till they turn golden brown.

Step 4 :

Now add tomatoes and saute them until they leave oil.

Step 5 :

Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and cook until the mixture leaves the sides of wok.

Step 6 :

Add 1/2 cup water and cook until one boil.

Step 7 :

Add milk and cook on slow flame.

Step 8 :

Take fresh cream/malai in a bowl and beat it with a spoon.

Step 9 :

Add fresh cream to mixture and turn the flame to low.

Step 10 :

Keep stirring and add salt.

Step 11 :

Now sprinkle some kasuri methi and add paneer cubes to it and mix well.

Step 12 :

Put the wok lid on and cook on slow flame for 2 minutes.

Step 13 :

The paneer cubes will turn soft.

Step 14 : For serving

Take it out in a serving dish and enjoy with roti, prantha or naan.
