This thalipeeth can be well served with coconut chutney during vrat, otherwise it can be served with tomato ketchup.

Procedure

Step 1 :

Grate the boiled potatoes in a plate.Add soaked sabudana and kuttu atta to it.

Step 2 :

Add peanuts, grated ginger, green chilli, cumin seed, lemon Juice and salt.

Step 3 :

Mesh the mixture properly to make the dough.

Step 4 :

Make balls from the dough.

Step 5 :

Take thick polythene and fold it, apply ghee on the inner surface of polythene.

Step 6 :

Keep a ball of dough and cover the polythene, start pressing the ball from all sides to make circular shape.

Step 7 :

Keep a pan on the gas and apply ghee over it and let it heat.

Step 8 :

Gently put the thalipeeth on the pan (tawa) from the polythene.

Step 9 :

Let it cook for two minutes and turn it upside down carefully.

Step 10 :

Now apply ghee on the cooked surface and again turn it and again apply ghee.

Step 11 :

Cook it until it turns golden brown.
