Milky Strings is a tasty, easy Indian dessert made with milkmaid and mixture of dry fruits with a flavour of saffron.

Cooking Steps for Milky Strings

Step 1 :

Mix rice flour with boiled water and ghee in a deep pan and bring a boil stir often to avoid lump formation. Once cooked make dough from this mixture.

Step 2 :

Use plams to shape dough into lemon sized balls and these balls into thin long threads.

Step 3 :

In a separate pan boil milk and add milkmaid, almond paste, saffron allow it to cook for about 8-10 minutes on low flame.

Step 4 :

Add rice dough strings and cook for 10-12 minutes on low flame. Toward the end stir with sugar, jaggary, grated coconut, cardamom powder, crushed nuts.

Step 5 : For Serving

Decorate with cashew and can serve hot or cold.
