A rich and comforting Indian dessert made with pearl millet flour, milk, butter, and jaggery.

Cooking Steps

Pearl Millet Halwa

Step 1 :

In a pan, roast pearl millet flour in ghee/butter on a low flame until aromatic and the colour slightly deepens.

Step 2 :

Gradually add milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Step 3 :

Add melted jaggery, mix well, and cook until thick, leaving the sides of the pan.

Step 4 :

Pour into a greased mould and allow it to set before serving.
