Soft, nutty pedas made with roasted sorghum flakes and ghee, offering a wholesome twist to a traditional Indian sweet.

Cooking Steps

Sorghum Peda

Step 1 :

Dry roast sorghum flakes on a low flame until aromatic. Cool completely and grind into a fine powder.

Step 2 :

Transfer to a bowl and add powdered sugar. Mix evenly.

Step 3 :

Add ghee gradually, mixing until the mixture comes together and holds shape.

Step 4 :

While warm, shape into small pedas or balls.

Step 5 :

Garnish with chopped cashews or almonds and gently press to set.
