A quick and hearty pulao where fragrant basmati rice meets spiced chickpeas for a satisfying one-pot meal.

Chole Pulao

Step 1 :

Chop onions, garlic and coriander leaves.

Step 2 :

Heat oil in a deep nonstick pan, add cumin seeds. When the seeds start changing colour, add garlic and ginger and mix well and saute for a minute.

Step 3 :

Add onions and saute till golden. Add chickpeas, mix well and cook for a minute.

Step 4 :

Add chole masala, salt, rice, mix well and cook for a minute. Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 5 :

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
