Elevate your continental dishes with this viral Duchess Potatoes recipe, perfect for using up leftover mashed or boiled potatoes.

Duchess Potatoes

Step 1 :

Mash the potatoes very well so no lumps remain. Now add them to a cooking pot, along with cream and butter. Add some salt and cheese and cook everything on low flame to get a very smooth and buttery potato mash.

Step 2 :

If you have leftover mashed potato the above-mentioned step is to be skipped.

Step 3 :

Transfer the mashed potato into a mixing bowl, add the egg yolks and using a spatula mix everything well.

Step 4 :

Transfer the prepared mixture into a piping bag, at the same time, line a baking tray with parchment.

Step 5 :

Gently pipe out small quantities of the potato mixture on the parchment.

Step 6 :

Now bake these potatoes in a pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes, or until they get golden crispy.

Step 7 :

Enjoy these duchess potatoes as they are, or with a chicken steak or any other way you like.
