Cooking Steps

Parle-G Gulab Jamun

Step 1 :

First, we prepare the sugar syrup, in a kadhai, add the sugar and an equal quantity of water and let it melt on low flame.

Step 2 :

Add the green cardamoms and keep stirring till a uniform slightly thick sugar syrup is ready. Remove from the flame and let it cool.

Step 3 :

Now add the biscuits into a blending jar and make a fine powder. Transfer it into a mixing bowl, add the maida, and use a few spoons of milk to prepare a soft dough. Let it rest for a few minutes.

Step 4 :

Divide the dough into equal quantities, and using greased palms, roll them into smooth round balls, taking care to avoid cracks in them.

Step 5 :

Now heat some oil or ghee in a kadhai, and on low flame fry these gulab jamun balls until golden brown.

Step 6 :

Once fried and cooled, add them to the sugar syrup.

Step 7 :

Parle-G gulab jamuns are ready to be relished.
