Litchi Chutney is a sweet and tangy delight that combines fresh litchi with spices for a unique, flavorful condiment.

Cooking Steps

Litchi Chutney

Step 1 :

Place a saucepan on medium heat, add the fresh litchis along with sugar and mix it well.

Step 2 :

Once the mixture becomes soft and mushy add the ginger, red chilli powder and salt.

Step 3 :

Cook the mixture well for about 10 minutes. Now add the lemon juice and stir it in.

Step 4 :

Cook until the mixture thickens.

Step 5 :

Turn off the flame, and keep it aside.

Step 6 :

In a tempering pan, heat some oil, add the mustard seeds and let it crackle. Now add this tempering to the litchi chutney.

Step 7 :

Mix well, and cool. Then transfer it into a clean glass jar. Refrigerate or enjoy immediately.
