This is the perfect Valentine's recipe which is perfect to make ahead and store in a jar and to munch on as the perfect Valentine’s Day snack when you’re enjoying Netflix and chilling with your partner.

Heart-Shaped Cookies

Step 1 :

In a bowl, add the butter and brown sugar. To this add in the egg yolk and cream until soft and fluffy.

Step 2 :

Add in the melted Lindberg chocolate and mix well. Sift in the flour along with baking powder and mix until just well combined.

Step 3 :

Form a dough and refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the dough and cut out heart shapes.

Step 4 :

Cut out mini heart shapes inside half of the already cut heart shapes. Bake at 170°c for 10-12 minutes.

Step 5 :

Fill it with white chocolate frosting that has been dyed pink to give it the Valentine's colour and sandwich it between 2 heart-shaped cookies.

Step 6 :

To make it a little more festive, garnish with sprinkles!
