A winter pop-up menu to satiate your dessert craving. This is a famous Bengali dessert whose luscious texture and the fresh tanginess of the orange segments will make you fall in love with it.

Komola/Orange Kheer
Step 1 :
Mix 2 tbsp cornflour, 1/4 cup milk, sugar and keep aside. Boil the 1 litre milk add 1/2 cup milkmaid and keep stirring. Now add the cornflour mixture to the milk and reduce till it thickens. Switch the flame off and wait till the thickened milk comes to room temperature.
Step 2 :
Remove orange skin. Separate the orange segments and remove the seeds as well as discard the orange skins. Cut into small slices. Meanwhile, scoop out the orange slices and use the peel to serve your dessert. Use the peel and just shred it to make some zest which we will add before serving.
Step 3 :
Mix the orange juice(while slicing the orange segments) along with the segments with the thickened milk lightly. Once properly mixed either serve it at room temperature or after chilling for 2 hours. Pour into orange peel cups and refrigerate before serving.
