Winter and health are synonymous. This immunity-boosting healthy homemade chyawanprash recipe is not only healthy but tasty too.

Step 1 :

Wash all the amlas & pat them dry. In a pan, add water and amla. Bring it to boil

Step 2 :

Boil them until soft, and remove the seeds by straining them. Using a blender, puree amla until smooth.

Step 3 :

Next, heat a pan and pour the ghee & add jaggery & dates.

Step 4 :

In the meantime, grind the spices into a fine powder. You can also use store-bought chyawanprash masala.

Step 5 :

Add the mashed amala & cook it on low flame for around 15-20 min. Let the moisture evaporate.

Step 6 :

Add the saffron, and mixed powdered spices to the amla & sauté for 10 more minutes. Cook until chyawanprash changes colour.

Step 7 :

Next add powdered dry fruits, honey & mix is altogether. Eventually, chyawanprash will start leaving sides of the pan.

Step 8 :

Chyawanprash is now ready. Let is cool and transfer it into a clean glass jar.
