Step 1 :

Using a steamer, cook the sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker till soft. Keep it aside for cooling. Once cooled peel & crush using a flat spoon or with hands.

Step 2 :

Lightly roast the mixed dry fruits ( almonds, cashew, pistachios) on slow flame till aromatic. Keep aside to cool. Once cool, powder them using mortar & pestle to a coarse mixture. Peel the cardamoms & crush them to make powder.

Step 3 :

Heat a thick-bottomed kadhai or pan. Add ghee, sweet potatoes, and chopped bananas to it. Mix well & cook on slow flame. Add sugar & elaichi powder.

Step 4 :

Next, add chopped figs & raisins. Mix well till it combines & mixture is softened. Cook uncovered on slow flame for 5 minutes more.

Step 5 :

Garnish with powdered dry fruits and serve warm. It can also be set in cupcake moulds to add to the presentation & appeal.
