Haldi ki Sabji

A simple yet very healthy winter dish made with fresh turmeric and eaten with rotlos or rotis.

Cooking Steps

Haldi ki Sabji

Step 1 :

Peel the turmeric and grate it with grater.

Step 2 :

Take a pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee and add the turmeric. Sauté it for some time and add salt according to taste. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low to medium flame till the turmeric is soft.

Step 3 :

Take another pan, add the remaining ghee followed by hing, finely chopped green garlic & green onions.

Step 4 :

Now add salt according to taste along with red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, sugar & 1/4 cup water.

Step 5 :

After 5 minutes, add in the fresh turmeric and cook again for 5 minutes. Now add curd and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 6 :

Remove from heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
