Cheesy Bao Buns

Bao Buns

Step 1 :

To the 1 cup all-purpose flour, add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Gently knead the flour with 1/2 cup milk and 2 tablespoon oil. Now rest the dough for 2 hours or until it doubled in size.

Filling

Step 1 :

In a mixing bowl, add in the mashed potatoes,. Then add salt, chili flakes, onion powder, garlic powder and oregano seasoning and combine all together.

Step 2 :

Once the dough rests nicely, divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Gently roll into round shape. Add some mashed potato. Now place a big chunk of Britannia cheese cube in the centre and seal the dough to form a ball. Place it on a baking paper and steam for 20 mins.

Step 3 :

Once it cools down, decorate as you wish with food colour. Your cheesy bao buns are ready to be serves hot. With each bite, cheese melts and stretches. Yum!
