Bread Butter Pudding

British bread pudding made of butter, bread, raisins and egg custard.

Step 1 :

First cut the bread in triangle shapes and spread butter on one side.

Step 2 :

Grease the baking tray with butter, arrange bread slices, butter side is up, sprinkle cinnamon powder & raisins.

Step 3 :

Simmer the milk and keep it aside.

Step 4 :

Take another bowl whisk the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.

Step 5 :

Add the milk to the egg mixture, strain and keep it aside.

Step 6 :

Pour the milk mixture over the bread slices in the baking tray such that it covers all bread slices.

Step 7 :

Cover it with an aluminum foil and put the baking tray in another tray filled half with water.

Step 8 :

Bake it in the middle rack of the oven at 180 degree celsius for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and serve.
