Step 1 :

Before baking, preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.

Step 2 :

Prepare a flat baking tray by brushing it very lightly with oil.

Step 3 :

In a bowl, mix the cookie premix with unsalted butter until crumbles are formed, then add water and gently mix only until soft dough forms.

Step 4 :

Refrigerate the dough for 5 minutes.

Step 5 :

Drop dough by heaped teaspoons, 2 inches apart on the baking tray.

Step 6 :

Press slightly on the dough balls. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.

Step 7 :

For crunchy cookies, bake for an extra 2minutes and for softer, gooey cookies, bake for 1 minute less. Leave to cool on the tray for 20 minutes.

Step 8 :

To soften butter, leave outside for 20-30 minutes or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
