Classic Tomato Spaghetti

This recipe is a favourite and loved by all. It can be had for snacks or dinner.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Finely chop the onions, tomatoes, spring onions and basil leaves separately and keep aside.

Step 2 :

Boil 1 and a half litres of water in a large pan and add 2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of olive oil to it.

Step 3 :

Now, add spaghetti and cook till they are soft.

Step 4 :

Drain out the boiled spaghetti in a colander and keep aside.

Step 5 :

Heat Olive oil in a pan and fry the onions till they become translucent.

Step 6 :

Now, add the chopped tomatoes and fry till they are soft.

Step 7 :

Then, add salt, sugar, tomato sauce, soya sauce, black pepper powder, basil leaves, boiled spaghetti and toss well.

Step 8 :

Lastly, add the chopped spring onions and toss well. Serve hot.
