Masala Sprouts Kulcha With Ghee

Sprouting tends to enhance the nutritional value of grains, legumes or beans. These contain certain anti-nutrients including phytic acid which locks up important minerals. It also inhibits our digestive enzymes that can cause indigestion and intestinal gas. Adding them to a regular kulcha can be a healthier twist.

Step 1 :

Soak 2 tbsp of green moong and sprout them.

Step 2 : For the kulcha dough

Take a bowl and add 3 tbsp whole wheat flour, 1.5 tbsp maida, 1 tbsp curd, 1.5 tbsp milk, 1/8th tsp salt and knead into soft dough.

Step 3 :

Keep the dough aside for sometime.

Step 4 :

Take a bowl, add sprouted whole moong, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp green chilli paste, 1/8th tsp dry mango powder and 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mash well .

Step 5 :

Roll the dough and fill in the stuffing, seal and fold it into a round ball.

Step 6 :

Roll into a kulcha.

Step 7 :

Heat a pan and roast the kulcha by both sides with 1 tsp ghee.

Step 8 :

Serve hot.
