It's a very spicy chicken recipe which can be served on special occasions.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Marinate the chicken with salt and turmeric powder for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2 :

Heat a pan and dry roast the kashmiri chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and peppercorn.

Step 3 :

In a mixing jar, add garlic cloves and lemon juice. Add half a cup of water, grind and make a paste from it.

Step 4 :

In a pan heat ghee, add finely chopped onion and saute it for few minutes.

Step 5 :

Then, add the masala paste. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes and then add the marinated chicken.

Step 6 :

Mix the chicken with the spices, cover it and cook it till tender.

Step 7 :

When the chicken becomes soft, check the salt. Add chopped curry leaves and 1 tbsp of ghee.

Step 8 :

The chicken ghee roast is ready to serve. Enjoy it with roti or paratha.
