Step 1 :
Peel and blanch the carrots in a vessel with water for 5 minutes.
Step 2 :
Drain the water from the vessel and set the carrots aside to cool.
Step 3 :
Add the carrots to a mixer and blend it into a smooth paste.
Step 4 :
In a bowl, add 1/2 a cup of the prepared carrot paste along with all the other ingredients.
Step 5 :
Mix the ingredients together to combine the flavours. The texture should be crumbly.
Step 6 :
Make a stiff dough with the help of little water. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Step 7 :
Now roll the dough into a thin chapati.
Step 8 :
Cut a circle with a cookie cutter or a bottle cap.
Step 9 :
Now place five circles one by one close to each other and roll it, cut in the middle.
Step 10 :
Heat enough oil in a pan, add rose shaped mathri and deep fry till they become crispy.
Step 11 :
Serve it hot with tea.
