This is a healthy cake as it contains very less sugar and plenty of dates.

Step 1 :

Soak dates in 1 cup of hot water.

Step 2 :

Sieve together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and coffee powder.

Step 3 :

In a bowl, add 2 eggs, oil and sugar.

Step 4 :

Finely chop the dates and place the pieces back again in the water.

Step 5 :

Chop walnuts and mix it in the flour mixture.

Step 6 :

Gently pour the egg mixture in portions into the flour mix and combine it well.

Step 7 :

Fold in the soaked dates along with the water.

Step 8 :

Bake it in the preheated oven at 180°C or until an inserted knife comes out clean.

Step 9 :

When it cools down, serve it with ice cream.
