Step 1 :

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step 2 :

Line a 8 inch square cake tin with butter paper.

Step 3 :

Melt butter and mix in cocoa powder well. Keep the mixture aside.

Step 4 :

Sieve flour and baking powder together in a bowl.

Step 5 :

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy for about 5 minutes.

Step 6 :

Add in the cocoa mixture and beat again for about 1 minute.

Step 7 :

Now fold in the flour mixture with a spatula until combined well without any lumps.

Step 8 :

Add the chopped walnuts and pour in the batter in the lined baking tin.

Step 9 :

Allow it to bake for around 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 10 :

Cut into squares and serve.
