Step 1 :

Heat butter in a pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida, allow it to crackle.

Step 2 :

Take a blender, add chopped amla, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds and black pepper powder and blend it together.

Step 3 :

Add the amla paste in the pan and saute it for few minutes.

Step 4 :

Add salt and turmeric powder and mix it well.

Step 5 :

Add 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Step 6 :

Cook it for 10 minutes on low flame. Turn off the flame.

Step 7 :

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
