Banana Bread (eggless)

An easy version of eggless banana bread which does not require any baking expertise and can be even baked by an amateur.

Step 1 :

Cut the banana into pieces. Blend sugar, banana and milk together in a mixer. Sugar quantity to be decided depending on sweetness of banana. Add 1/2 cup initially, add more if required.

Step 2 :

Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Healthy option - mix in 50:50 ratio all purpose flour and wheat flour

Step 3 :

Mix flour and banana mixture together. Add vanilla essence and oil. Nuts (optional) can be also added in this step. This is a healthy version and only 1 tsp oil is used. Continue mixing using one direction folding. Remove any lumps. Check the consistency of the batter, it should not be flowing and more of semi solid in nature.

Step 4 :

Preheat your microwave (in convection mode)/oven at 200°C for 5 mins.

Step 5 :

Grease cake pan (preferably long rectangular shape to get desired shape of bread) with ghee/oil/butter and dust some flour on it.

Step 6 :

Pour the bread mixture in the greased pan.

Step 7 :

Bake the bread mixture for 30-35 mins at 200°C. Once baked, put a needle/fork in the bread to check if its baked completely from inside. If not, let it bake for 5-10 mins more.

Step 8 :

Cool and Serve. Enjoy!!!
