It is easy to make cake. Honey gives a special flavour and makes this dish unique. You can make it with eggs and using more honey. Moderate use of honey, enhances the taste of this cake.

Step 1 :
In a bowl take curd, sugar and oil. Whisk the mixture for 5 -7 minutes.
Step 2 :
Add maida, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla essence to it. Mix it properly
Step 3 :
Then put the mixture in a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes. Do not mix the batter vigorously, use cut and fold method.
Step 4 :
When the cake is done, take it out and let cool completely, then prick and make small holes on it.
Step 5 :
To prepare the honey syrup, dissolve 2 tbsp of honey in 1/4 cup of water, in a vessel and boil for 2 minutes then add 1/4 cup of honey and mix it well.
Step 6 :
Pour the lukewarm syrup on the cake and let the syrup seep in.
Step 7 :
Then prepare a jam mixture. In a pan put 1/2cup strawberry jam and 1 tbsp of honey and mix well.
Step 8 :
Spread the jam mixture on the cake evenly. The honey cake is ready to serve
