This is an easy to make, light tea snack that can be prepared during festive seasons like Diwali.

Step 1 :

Melt ghee in the microwave or a pan and set it aside.

Step 2 :

Take a mixing bowl, add the melted ghee, maida, salt and sugar for taste.

Step 3 :

Add a pinch of hing and chilli powder. Mix it well to combine.

Step 4 :

Add some water if needed and bind it into a dough.

Step 5 :

Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough similar to that of a roti. Take a pizza cutter and cut the rolled out dough into diamond shapes.

Step 6 :

Heat refined oil in a deep bottom pan and deep fry the thukdis till crisp and golden ground.

Step 7 :

Once done, drain the excess oil using a kitchen towel. Serve.
